Welcome to the 5th Children’s Book Study!

When starting this series, I set a rule that the books must be published within the past year, but today I’m breaking the rule. The book we’ll be looking at is from 2004, but I just discovered it, and if you don’t know it, I really want to introduce you to it.

The message is so important, not just for kids, but for us as illustrators!

We’ll be look at a book by Peter H. Reynolds, a prolific author-illustrator. You might recognize his very famous book, The Dot, which is celebrated internationally on September 15-ish. I got to celebrate it at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston last month, and that’s when I discovered his third book in the Dot series,-Ish.
