I’m excited about today’s book, because it connects to the Children’s Literature class I took when I was in school. One of the first assignments was to write about a children’s book of our choice. I was captivated by a book titled Journey. It was a wordless picture book, which was something new to me at the time. Since I was studying how to teach reading to kids, I knew this type of book could be such a powerful tool for readers who needed a little boost. I wrote my book study, and I went on to use the book in my student teaching. I adored that book. The illustrations were magical and sparked intrigue in students.

So when I saw that Aaron Becker published a brand new wordless book this year, I was so excited to flip through it. So let’s check it out together…
