The Sketch Party happens monthly on the third Wednesday, but the third Wednesday of this month is the in-person book launch for Timothy’s Tee Time, so how does the third Tuesday work for you?

What is the Sketch Party? A free one-hour Zoom to hang out with other artists. I lead a 15 minute sketching activity, and then we stay on the zoom and chat while working on various projects for the remainder of the hour. I hope you join us for some community and art! All levels are welcome, and it’s mostly about hanging out with other artists :)
How long does it really take to illustrate a children’s book?
I just sent off the final files for my first picture book, Timothy’s Tee Time! It was an expedited timeline of 2.5 months from start to finish. Although I definitely felt the pressure of a quick turnaround, I got to learn so much about the process and how long each stage really takes.
