What we did today:
In this session, we kicked off Summer Project Club by setting goals and getting started with our projects! Here’s an overview of what we did:
We warmed up with a drawing prompt (attached below)
We brainstormed goals and selected a Summer Project using a worksheet (attached below)
We worked on our goals and accomplished some first steps.
We shared about our projects and progress.
Benefits of Summer Project Club (aka why you should join!):
Accountability: By setting aside the time to get your project done, well… it’ll actually gets done! Twice-a-month check-ins help you actually stick with it.
Steady Growth + Progress: When you show up and do the work, it gets done and you get better. Steady, consistent growth over 3 months can be so powerful.
Focused Work Time: Finally make space for that project you keep putting off.
Community: Create alongside other artists who are working on portfolio pieces, sketchbook habits, and personal work. There’s so much variety, and it’s inspiring to see all the projects everyone has chosen.
