Hi everyone!

Welcome back to the very chill Surface Pattern Challenge. This newsletter is a monthly segment that started two months ago. I’m doing this challenge across months, because I’m hoping it can be a personal project for you… Something you can squeeze between life and other projects. So we just do a little bit each month. This month we’ll begin drawing our pattern tile!

My goal is to create tropical wallpaper for the half bath in our house. It’s something my fiance has been asking me to create for quite som time! So I’m holding myself accountable to finally making it, while all of you create your own unique patterns. Part 3: Pick a drawing strategy

Now that you’re all caught up, you should have your theme and product. You should also have a mood board that will guide your design process.
