A bit about me:

Here are 5 quick facts about me:

1. I’m a teacher turned illustrator. After a decade of teaching, I started my own art business and have illustrated 4 books and dozens of commissions.

2. My favorite things to draw are: dogs, florals, and anything to do with Italy

4. I’m a part-time educator at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston

5. After a few years of working digitally (which I love), I set a goal to learn gouache. Now I blend traditional and digital techniques in a hybrid style that feels uniquely mine—it's so much fun!

And a bonus fact: My assistant Auggie likes to make an occasional appearance in my newsletter and on my Instagram.

A bit about my Substack + the Library

My weekly newsletter is about sharing what I have learned so that others can turn their love for art into a career, too.

Over the years I have learned that one small step every day is powerful enough to create real change over time. While I was a teacher, I worked in small but steady amounts to build my portfolio, get my first clients, and develop my style.
