I'm doing a lot of work around coastal environments at the moment, so I'll decide between rock pools or beach combing, and say it's for an outdoor blanket (thinking rumpl blankets) ☀️
Such a great theme for a blanket! My sister works in a lab and does a lot of coastal research, so I feel particularly connected to your idea :) Can't wait to see it come together over the course of the challenge!

I think I've decided on a theme - I will draw STEM (Science/Tech/Eng/Maths) icons for kids gifts/wrapping paper. I'm not sure whether that works but I'm going to give it a go...
I already have a list as long as my arm of things I’m doing/learning but this has just been added to it! This newsletter itself has so much lovely info and so much to think about… theme in progress… 💭

I have finally decided - following along with Adam Ming's sketchbook micro lesson this week on food to create my icons for a pattern. A departure from my more nature focussed drawings, but will get plenty of veggies in there!
What a fab idea!! I haven't done a food pattern yet, so I'm adding that to my list. I can't wait to see how yours turns out 😁 Also super cool that Adam's micro lesson helped inspire this!
